Livigno is rated as a top skiing resort because it simply has it all – fantastic snow throughout the skiing season, wonderful ski runs, a vast range of activities, great nightlife and duty-free shopping. This Alpine village is located in a high valley in Italy, bordering with Switzerland. Livigno is 1816 high and it spans 25km with surrounding slopes towering up to 3000m. At this altitude Livigno’s skiers can always rely on first rate snow conditions spread over 115km of slopes between the Carosello and Mottolino mountains.


Emerge from the Mont Blanc tunnel into Courmayeur, a traditional Italian resort, steeped in history, full of character and surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. There’s something for everyone both on the mountain and down in the town. The perfect ski resort with a touch of Italian chic.

La Thuile

Originally an old mining town, La Thuile is now a purposebuilt ski resort with a modern lift-base complex just a stone’s throw from the atmospheric old village which dates as far back as the 12th century. The quality of the skiing is incredible for all levels, with links to La Rosière in France creating even more diversity.


Pila is located above the Roman town of Aosta, a spectacular 16 minute gondola ride away. It really is a hidden gem. With lovely wooded runs and open powder areas higher up, it’s a lovely blend of ‘Courmayeur meets La Thuile’ and is perfect for all abilities.
