The island of Sicily registered one of the lowest numbers of Covid-19 cases than the rest of Italy whilst the Ragusa area had the least number of cases in Sicily. Hence why we have decided to focus around this area for your safety and absolute enjoyment of a much well-deserved break.

Covid-19 measures for a safe holiday

  • Masks/visors have to be worn on catamaran
  • Masks will also have to be worn on bus journeys and seating on the bus will be pre-assigned in line with social distancing measures
  • Temperature will be taken prior to going on board the bus and anyone with fever will be denied boarding. Hands will also have to be sanitised
  • Everyone will have to keep a distance of 1 metre from one another when going up and down the bus
  • Our group will be allocated rooms on specific floors. Breakfast and lunch will be served in a dedicated area solely reserved for our group
  • Masks must be worn in shops and in public places where the social distancing rules cannot be kept

  • Everyone travelling to Sicily from 1st July until 30th September is requested, by Sicilian Authorities, to download the Siclia Si Cura app and register all details required. The app can be downloaded on the mobile, from the app store, else one can register through this site www.siciliasicura.costruiresalute.it/welcome

Meet at the port at 05.00 am for catamaran leaving at 06.30am. Upon arrival, transfer by private coach to Modica, renowned for its chocolate and coffee-making, where there will be free time to roam the various shops selling these specialities. Those who want can enjoy Modica’s historical centre (both lower & upper) from aboard the Trenino Barocco (optional).   Check-in at our 4* hotel in Frigintini – Le Magnolie followed by lunch, nearby the hotel and free time by the pool. Evening transfer to Ragusa Ibla, the ancient city of Ragusa offering astonishing monuments and impressive buildings. Ragusa Ibla is the ideal place for a lively Summer evening. Dinner at your leisure (extra).


Half day excursion to the quaint island of Ortigia, the historic centre of Syracuse. Ortigia is a small Baroque island considered as one of the most beautiful destinations in Sicily and dotted with elegant piazzas and impressive church facades. There will be ample time to discover its most famous sights and districts. After lunch (extra) we head back to our hotel for some free time by the pool. Dinner nearby the hotel.


Breakfast and check-out. We then visit an oil factory and a cheese farm with an opportunity to savour their products. Lunch will be taken at an agriturismo (extra), followed by a stop in Scicli, where the series ‘Inspector Montalbano’ is filmed. Transfer to Pozzallo.
