The first stop will be made in Erice, a mesmerising walled medieval town whose mountain charm is enhanced by the unpredictable weather that can go from a sunny afternoon to a foggy evening in the space of a few minutes. The town has sweeping views of the sea and the valley below, and is home to Sicily’s most famous pastry shop, Maria Grammatico, a must visit. There will be time for souvenir shopping. We then proceed to Trapani, the city of salt and windmills with an elegant and interesting historic city centre. Dinner (buffet) at the hotel.

Full day excursion to Marsala. This town is rich in history and charm and along with a bourgeois city center, it has beautiful beaches. Famous throughout the world for its excellent wine that bears its name, Marsala went down in history for being the city where Garibaldi landed in Sicily for the liberation of southern Italy from the Bourbon domination. We shall visit the much acclaimed Donnafugata winery. This winery is home to a dynamic production facility aimed at excellence. Here we will have the opportunity to savour 4 representative wines from the Donnafugata Collection (extra).
