Meet at the airport at 08.30 am for Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul departing at 10.35 am. Upon arrival at around 1.55 pm we transit on to our connecting flight departing to New York at 6.35 pm. We are expected to get to the destination at 10.30 pm. Transfer to hotel – The Dylan Hotel or similar
We depart New York for historic New England and the historic Boston with a walking tour along the Freedom Trail which begins at the Boston Common and winds beside the State House, King’s Chapel, the Old South Meeting House, the Boston Massacre site and the fronts of many taverns and pubs where America’s ‘Founding Fathers’ toasted freedom. We will also walk the cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill, steeped in history and one of the city’s most beautiful neighbourhoods. Check-in at the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Brookline or similar.
Departure from Boston and travel through the rural New England states of New Hampshire and Vermont on the way to Canada. We pass through small picturesque villages and the White Mountains. We cross the international border to enter the Canadian province of Québec. Perhaps visit an authentic maple farm and this evening, take the opportunity to sample some of the celebrated French-Canadian cuisine (optional). Check-in at Hotel Universel or similar.
We begin the day with a tour of Québec City, the French capital of the province and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Québec Provincial Parliament Building and the Citadelle. Then enjoy a walking tour of the walled city, where we will see the Chateau de Frontenac, as well as unparalleled views of the Saint Lawrence River. Time permitting, we suggest you enjoy a delicious pastry, baguette or candy treat (optional) or visit Rue du Tresor (optional), before departing to Montréal. Upon arrival, tour Old Montréal, the area known as the “Vieux Port”, with stops at Place Jacques Cartier & Notre Dame Basilica. Check-in at Gouverneur Hotel Place Dupuis or similar.
Depart Montréal for the capital of Canada, Ottawa. This vibrant city of parks and flowers boasts one of the most impressive parliament buildings in the world. In the afternoon, continue along the 1,000 Islands Parkway to the largest English-speaking city in Canada, Toronto, located on the shore of Lake Ontario. You may also join an optional excursion on the St.Lawrence River which explores the magnificent scenery during a relaxing cruise. Check-in at Bond Place Hotel or similar.
Begin the day with a drive through Toronto’s impressive collection of modern skyscrapers, most notably, the CN Tower, one of the world’s tallest free-standing structures. Continue along Lake Ontario, crossing the Welland Canal, before arriving at Niagara Falls, an amazing natural wonder. Stroll along Table Rock, see the unique Floral Clock and view the thundering water of the Horseshoe Falls. Perhaps take an optional tour on the renowned Hornblower Cruises at the base of the Falls. Check-in at Hotel Best Western Cairn Croft Inn or similar.
Today ride through the rolling farmland of upstate New York, known as the Finger Lakes Region, and enter the Keystone State of Pennsylvania. This afternoon, visit the historic Gettysburg Civil War National Battleground, site of the largest battle ever fought on American soil and the place where President Lincoln gave his famous address in 1863. Travel along the Susquehanna River to South Pennsylvania for overnight. Check-in at Hotel Wyndham Garden York or similar.
Travel through rural countryside to Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Visit an Amish Museum and see their 300-year old tradition of simple living (admission included). The Amish people live in a world that stopped in the mid-1850s. They use no electricity, mechanical devices, nor modern equipment. In the afternoon continue to the nation’s capital, Washington D.C and check-in at the Washington Hilton or similar.
Enjoy a tour of the National’s Capitol with such highlights as the Washington Museum, the Lincoln Memorial, the White House and Arlington National Cemetery, site of the JFK Memorial. Spend the remainder of the day exploring some of the many museums comprising the Smithsonian Institute or simply walk the banks of the Potomac River.
Complete the tour today with a drive to New York City via Philadelphia, known as the “City of Brotherly Love”, with a stop to visit Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Check-in at Dylan Hotel or similar.
Free time in New York fo shopping and/or personal sightseeing. Late afternoon transfer to the airport for our Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul departing at 7.00 pm.
Expected to arrive in Istanbul at around 11.55 am. The flight from Istanbul to Malta will leave at 5.00 pm.

What an incredible trip we had, In Athens the Arethusa Hotel was budget friendly, clean, spacious rooms and the staff were all smiles, the breakfast was abundant,a 2 minute walk from the Airport bus and Syntagma Square, centrally located near everything. We enjoyed an amazing trip in Turin to watch Juve vs Napoli and Juve vs Lyon. Thumbs up for a very well organised tour. Our tour leader Peter Paul Gauci had even to deal with a massive six hour delay by Airmalta !! Will travel again with you surely.
Had a great week on The Harmony of the seas! Loved the cruise liner, service,food and activities! Was a last minute cruise but still had a great cabin with a boardwalk view. Thanks to Jonathan Vella as I had constant support from him when had some minor problems that were solved while I enjoyed my holiday. Thumbs up to him as I found his help even after office hours!
