Day 1

We meet at MIA at 02.45 am for our Airmalta flight to Nice departing at 05.10 am. Upon arrival at around 07.00 am we shall proceed to the village of Eze. With its twisting cobblestone lanes, medieval houses and shady courtyards lined with traditional cafes, Eze is a tranquil village high above the glamorous resorts and beaches of the Cote d’Azur. This hilltop town offers panoramic views over the Mediterranean. From Eze we will then proceed to our 3* hotel in Sanremo. The hotel is located on the main pedestrian street next to the Ariston Theatre, surrounded by shops and restaurants.

Day 2

Today we will be visiting the French Riviera countryside. We will visit the village of Mougins, a pretty little medieval village, with a bygone era feel. This hilltop village is one of many picturesque medieval perched villages that are found all across Provence. The next stop will be made in Gourdon, one of the most impressive villages in the country with its magnificent castle perched on rocks 750 metres above sea level and the white stone-built medieval houses nestled around it. The last stop will be in the village of Tourrettes sur Loup, perched on a rocky outcrop surrounded by superb landscapes.

Day 3

During today’s full day excursion we will visit the principality of Monaco, the second smallest independent state in the world after the Vatican. It is a playground for tourists and a haven for the wealthy. We will see the Prince’s Palace (from the outside), the Monaco Cathedral where both Princess Grace Kelly and Prince Ranier are buried and the Montecarlo Casino (from the outside). We will make a stop in the town of Menton. With its shady streets, pastel mansions and a lovely old port, it is one of the most attractive town on the entire coast. We will also get to see the picturesque city of Nice with its Promenade des Arts and the Belle Epoque hotels of Promenade des Anglais.

Day 4

We shall leave Sanremo late in the morning on an optional excursion to Antibes and Cannes. With its sixteenth-century fortifications and cobbled streets, Antibes is one of the most well-known resorts on the Cote d’Azur. It’s home to the largest marina in the Mediterranean and has a picturesque Old Town. In Cannes we shall walk along the palm-tree lined La Croisette boulevard to the Film Festival Palace, where we shall see the hand prints of countless film stars. We shall also explore the old town with its historic buildings, churches and museums. Our flight back is expected to depart from Nice at around 02.00 am on the early morning of 2nd May.
