We meet at MIA at 10:30am for the direct flight KM624 to Milan followed by transfer in a luxury coach to the beautiful mountain village of Campolasta in Sarentino in the Dolomites area passing by through scenic roads. We will have enough time to settle in our hotel and enjoy our evening meal.

Day 2

Today’s tour will take us to Merano, a spa village with many wonderful sights. In the past, this town was a popular place of residence for several scientists, writers and artists who were attracted to its mild climate and beautiful setting. A short ride will then take us to Giardini Sissi (entrance extra) in Merano. These are beautiful botanical gardens where you can walk around and also see plants from all over the world and we spend a few hours there.

Day 3

Adequate time to hear morning mass at the Sarentino parish church. This will be followed by a visit to the San Martino mountain area, a popular skiing area which will be in full splendour, where we will take a cable car (extra), have time to enjoy lunch in one of the typical mountain restaurants (extra) and savour the beautiful mountain scenario. We return to the hotel late afternoon for an early dinner after which we go to visit the centre of Bolzano by night.

Day 4

Today we will head to the high mountain region of Val Gardena which is one of the most beautiful areas in the Dolomites. We will start with a visit to the lovely village of Selva di Val Gardena that lies below the majestic Sella Massif and directly on the legendary Sellaronda. We will then visit neighbouring Ortisei which looks back to an ancient trading activity and a rich history. Since more than 2 centuries the South Tyrolean holiday resort is considered as the international center of wood carving. The artwork of wood, manufactured in Ortisei Val Gardena, is a sign of quality and tradition until today.

Day 5

Today we visit the 1,100 year old medieval town of Brixen also known as Bressanone. We have time to explore its centre with cobbled stones and several shops. We then head to the outskirts of Bolzano to catch the Renon–Ritten train (extra) and afterwards the cable car (extra) to admire the spectacular views of the surrounding area. We then walk to naturally formed earth pyramids.

Day 6

Today we visit the scenic city of Bolzano, the capital and the largest city of South Tyrol. Apart from touring the chic historical centre, we will also have time to visit the Ötzi Museum which hosts the very famous 3100-3400BC naturally preserved mummy. In the afternoon we will have some free time in the largest shopping complex in Bolzano centre.
